About Us

On February 28, 2014, under strict doctor's orders, Apostle Ray Garcia obediently stayed home for four days. During that time, God gave Apostle Ray a dream. He saw a big building with a large parking lot, a spacious nursery for kids, a fully loaded playground and lots of classrooms for various types of training. That day, God revealed the full vision and mission of The Impact Center to him within an eight hour timeframe. The Lord showed him scriptures, what ministries to establish, and what it means to be the body of Christ. While writing out the vision and mission, there were several names that were considered for The Impact Center, however God made it clear what He wanted the name to be and what He desired the partners of TIC to do. 


Apostle Ray still has the original notes that were penned during that time with the Lord. 

The First Gathering

 The Impact Center began in a local hotel in Lawton, Oklahoma. Before that first gathering, the Lord blessed us with a brand new sound system. The banquet hall that was being utilized had a capacity of 40 people and after the first gathering, we had to look for other venues to accommodate more people. Within 3 weeks of the first gathering, the Lord provided us with a building! 

Vision & Mission

Vision

The Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 28, Verses 18-20 is God's commission to us all: 


"Jesus came up and said to them, "All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age."


Mission

Our mission is to fulfill Jesus' commissioning to make disciples of all nations, fully equipping and perfecting the saints for works of service by being a multi-ethnic and multi-generational Apostolic training center. There are seven steps that God has given The Impact Center that will bring wholeness into the lives of the people to be able to IMPACT one life at a time for the Kingdom of God and they are: 


Envision, Engage, Encourage, Edify, Establish, Equip and Empower 


Who Fulfills the Mission? 

According to Ephesians 4:11-13: The God given gifts to the church fulfill this mission which are: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. 

who we are

We are Impactors on assignment to fulfill the commission that Jesus commissioned us to do: to make disciples.


It is God's heart to make disciples so that they would be mature and intimate in and with Christ, to continue to grow in the life of Christ, serve in the body, and sow the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the lives of others and as a result: make disciples of all nations. 


WE HAVE BEEN CHOSEN to build a church (people) out of the un-churched (lost people). 

WE HAVE BEEN CHOSEN to minister to the religious people about the love, mercy and grace of God by our actions and teachings. 

WE HAVE BEEN CHOSEN to bring freedom and healing to those who are hurting and in captivity. 

WE HAVE BEEN CHOSEN to bring multiple ethnicities together to show a picture of the banquet table that is being prepared for God's children. 

WE HAVE BEEN CHOSEN to bring multiple generations together so that we can truly have an IMPACT with the presence of God and be a demonstration of the Kingdom of God on the Earth. 


We at The Impact Center of Lawton have accepted the CALL and the CHALLENGE to bring transformation to our city, region, state and nation by fulfilling this assignment.

Matthew 6:33

"But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right - the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also."
